How, what and why we collect personal data
We continuously collect personal data to ensure the best match between you and different brands that want to work with you, as a member of our Society. We primarily do this to provide you with the most suitable offers. We collect Personal Data when you register on our websites www.wickedsociety.se or www.thewickedsociety.com. The reason is to enable mailing of suitable offers, mailing of products, payment of compensation and to make contact in relation to promotions by mail and phone. We handle the data carefully and the primary purpose is to properly manage you as a member. You are entitled to request free of charge registry extracts that show what data we have registered about you. You may request rectification of incorrect, incomplete or misleading data by contacting email@example.com. You can also request that your data be digitally transferred to another party. You can also request your data to be transferred to a provider or to be erased.
When registering as a member in Wicked Society we collect the following data:
- First and last name
- Account name in various social media
- Statistics for your social media, such as demography and number of followers.
We also collect the following data for certain selected campaigns:
- Social security number
- Bank details
We only collect social security numbers when agreements are signed for the carrying out of a specific promotion or when signing a non-disclosure agreement for a promotion involving sensitive information.
We only use your bank details for payment of any promotion compensation if you don’t have a business or invoice us. We only store your data for future payment purposes.
How we use, protect and handle personal data
By being a member of Wicket Society, you accept that we and our partners contact you via the information you have provided, e.g. via phone, SMS or e-mail.
We store your personal data under high security and according to industry standards. We take no responsibility, however, for damage or loss of data as a result of intrusion, theft or misuse by a third party.
We reserve the right to delete your data and you as a user if you do not follow this policy, Swedish or other applicable law or act in a way we consider offensive or distasteful. We continuously clear out, including based on requests, our database from unsubscribed and inactive members. We may, however, be obliged to store personal data for a certain period of time, e.g. for accounting or archiving purposes or for specific campaigns that are ongoing. Your personal data is stored in our database for as long as you are an active member and wish to receive offers (an inactive member is defined by not having responded to offers for 6 months).
If and how we disclose personal data to third parties
We disclose your personal data to relevant clients for promotions suitable for you. However, this is only temporary and for the approval of clients as well as for conducting of promotions.
The personal data are processed by the company Wicked Media. If parts of the operations that include the Wicked Society database would be sold, then the personal data is included in such transactions and transferred to a potential buyer. We disclose certain personal data to relevant authorities in case of suspected crime.
We are, at any time, entitled to amend and update the policy, in which case we will send a new policy by e-mail or publish it on www.wickedsociety.se. A new Policy shall be published within reasonable time prior to coming into force. By being a member of our society, you accept the amendments. A new policy always supersedes a policy with an earlier date.
